Studio Policies

I look forward to working with your pianist this year! I strive to provide a positive and fun environment for piano lessons. Adhering to the policies below will make everything run smoothly as we work together to provide your student with the best environment for success.

Tuition and Fees: Tuition is $50.00 every month unless otherwise specified. Tuition is due at the first lesson of the month and can be paid with cash, check,  Zelle or Venmo.  A registration fee of $50.00 is due at the time of registration for each semester.

Missed Lessons: Due to the nature of group piano lessons, I will not be offering make-up lessons. If I need to miss a scheduled lesson, I will offer a make-up lesson or put a credit toward the next month’s tuition.

Practice: Practice is essential for improvement with any skill. Please provide a consistent practice time for your pianist, and encourage them to practice at home.

Assignment Sheet: Each week the student’s assignment sheet will be updated inside of their binder. Please look at this assignment sheet so you can see what they should be working on at home, as well as how often they are practicing. There is a space for a parent signature at the bottom that should be signed each week.

Reasons for Dismissal: Unfortunately there may be times when a student needs to be dismissed from lessons. Some of these include: multiple disruptions during class, frequently leaving materials at home, or a lack of participation in class. I will contact the parent if any of these issues come up so that we can work out solutions to these problems.

Discontinue Lessons: If you would like to discontinue piano lessons, please give 30 days notice so that I have time to fill your student's spot.
